Regardful of lighting source leads to no abbreviation of the lifetime. Long life span of more then 30000 starting cycles enables using them in fixtures where maintenance is difficult or expensive. Starters are designed to operate with magnetic ballast and thanks to large working voltage range they are suitable for using in the most of lighting applications.
