Miniature lamps with a tube diameter of 16mm are made of a special dark blue glass, which transmits UV- radiation. Component of the visible spectrum is emitted at minimum. They are used for rapid detection of UV reflective materials, especially for testing and analysis in various industries. They find their use in criminology, philately and medicine, but they can also be used to create special colour effects in the entertainment industry.
